Can I get cPanel?
We do not use
the official cPanel. We do have what we consider to
be a better and more stable control panel. We use
DirectAdmin. One of the webs premiere web hosting
control panels. Easy to use, quick to learn with

control. DirectAdmin is the easiest to use control
panel, period. DirectAdmin is programmed to be the
fastest running control panel available and avoids

Is Fantastico included?
No we do not use
Fantastico. We use something better. We use
Installatron. Installatron is an advanced
auto-installer plugin for DirectAdmin servers. Added
to a server, it gives users the ability to install,
upgrade, and manage a growing list of web scripts at
the click of a button. Install, upgrade, configure,
delete scripts in both domains and subdomains with

Shared vs. Reseller
What is the difference
between a shared account and a reseller account? A
shared account allows you to have multiple web sites
but that server is shared between a bunch of users
like yourself. A lot of people with a lot of web
sites could be on the same server.
A reseller account is basically the same thing but
you can also create control panel users yourself and
sell hosting to them as separate entities from
yourself. The are all under your main account but
they cannot see the other users you create or your
account. They can only see their own account.
Can I use phpMyAdmin?
phpMyAdmin
is installed and ready to use. The first thing you
will have to do though in order to use phpMyAdmin is
to create a database with the control panel,
DirectAdmin. You do this in the Mysql Management
section within your domains. You create the database
first and then you can login to phpMyAdmin with that
username and password that you used to create the
database. Each database has its own username and
password. phpMyAdmin allows you to manage the
databases based on that username and password.
Can I use your server to send email?
You can use our servers to send email. However
it is strongly recommended that you use your isp's
email server to send email. Any new customers that
sign up will have all the outgoing mail scanned for
spam. If the server detects that you are sending
spam it first stops the spam from going out and then
notifies us so that we can then investigate. If it
is determined that you are indeed sending out spam
then your account will be terminated.
The only reason you would need to use our servers
for sending out mail is if your isp limits the
amount of email that can be sent out at one time.
Maybe you have a mailing list of a 1000 people. Some
isp's will not let you send out to that many people
at once. In that case you can use our servers to
send mail.
Sending mail through our servers or your isp's
servers does not affect what the from address is in
the mail. We know it is important that you be able
to send mail using your domain as the from address.
This is not affected by which servers are used to
send the mail. The from address is set up in your
email client and has nothing to do with the actual
server that sends the mail.
Is Zend or Ioncube included?
Both Zend Optimiser and Ioncube Loaders are
installed.
Zend Optimiser and Ioncube Loaders are used to
decode encrypted or encoded php scripts. Many php
code writers encode or encrypt their scripts to keep
people from stealing parts of their copyrighted work
and using them for some other purpose.

Can I get a
unique ip address?
Each customer is assigned a unique ip address.
Shared hosting customers can only have 1 ip address.
The other plans allow for multiple ip addresses. If
you need more than 1 ip address then you need to
sign up as at least a reseller. Unique ip addresses
are only needed for SSL transactions and anonymous
ftp. Any other reason is a myth.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time.
Payment methods
We accept a variety of
payment methods. Most of the time people used credit
cards or PayPal. Other forms of payment are
check/money order, wire transfer, and Ikobo.
What operating system do your servers run?
We run Linux based servers only. Some are Fedora
Core and some are CentOS. Absolutely no Windows
servers.
Can I run .asp pages?
.asp pages were
designed to work with Windows operating systems.
They do not work very well on UNIX based system. In
fact we do not support them at all.
Can I please have ssh access?
We can allow ssh by request. It is not enabled
by default for every user. After signing up you can
send a request to
support@newwebsite.com for ssh access. We will
monitor all ssh activity.
What spam filtering techniques do you use?
We block all mail coming from blocklisted
servers. We also try to block spam based on certain
subject lines. In each case a rejection is sent back
to the sending server. Technically this is not
filtering but blocking.
We also have Spamassassin available for you to use.
The control panel can help you set this up and you
also have the ability to edit the Spamassassin
configuration file and create your own rules and set
up you own scores. We do not take it upon ourselves
to filter your email. You have to set up your own
filters. That way you cannot blame us for filtering
your email. Filtering your email is the
responsibility of you alone.
Do you have a money back guarantee?
We offer a 2 week free trial. You can signup for
real service and use it fully for 2 weeks. This is
not some scaled down plan with restrictions. You
will signed on the plan of your choice and you will
be able to use it to the full. At the end of two
weeks you will be sent an email to make your first
